Tiara
Tiara Burns is podcast producer and freelance blogger. She lives in Dallas, TX where she is finishing the last leg of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology & Communication with a concentration in Strategic Communication. With a life full of experiences, she intends to impact the burgeoning podcast industry and create a new standard for social marketing and audio exploration. She enjoys traveling, writing, hiking, and coming up with her own vegetarian recipes. Tiara believes that literacy and dialogue are the most powerful tools for empowering our youth today.
Valentin
Valentin is a senior Strategic Communication major with a minor in business. Keeping with his leadership development skills, Valentin also works at the police department on campus as a community service officer. When he is not on campus continuing his education –or giving out tickets to people without an active permit–he is usually at home studying, hanging out with friends, playing sports, or watching his favorite Dallas teams try to win a game. Valentine likes learning new things and helping youth, and is looking forward to his successful future after graduation.
Sterling
Sterling is a full-time student at University of North Texas, Dallas majoring in communications. As the only child of a single mom, he learned the value of hard work and how to inspire other young people first-hand. Sterling is a Dallas native with an Associates of Arts Degree from North Lake Community College. He loves mentoring, listening to music, playing video games, hanging out with family and friends, and traveling. Sterling believes that media is the most powerful tool to connect with our youth today, especially on social issues that may affect them and is looking forward to working in the communications field after graduating.
